Dr. Barry Crowley
I graduated from UCC with an honours degree in Dentistry in 2009. I then completed a vocational training year in both private practice and with the HSE. During my time with the HSE in Waterford, I gained invaluable experience in paediatric and special care dentistry.
After spending time working in London and Wexford, I returned to Cork in September 2013, where I have been practising ever since.
I’m a self-confessed dental nerd and have completed further training in areas including adult orthodontics and aligners, aesthetic crown and veneer work, composite bonding and restorations, dentures, implant restorations, and the treatment of tooth wear.
I’ve built strong relationships with dental specialists throughout Cork, allowing us to work closely together to help maintain our patients’ oral health and provide the highest standard of care.
When I’m not in the practice, you’ll usually find me on the sidelines of local GAA pitches supporting or helping out with my children’s teams.
Occasionally, I can still be seen on the pitch myself, trying to prolong my ‘hurling career’

Dr. Barry Crowley is the practice founder, a graduate of UCC with an honours degree he has worked in London & Waterford before returning to Cork in 2009. Gained invaluable experience in paediatric and special care dentistry while in the HSE in Waterford
Dr. Caroline McCarthy
Dr Caroline graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University College Cork (UCC) in 2009. After gaining valuable experience working in the UK, she returned to UCC to complete a three-year Doctorate in Oral Surgery, finishing her specialist training in 2015.
